Portree Cellars Joins Texas Wine Growers

In 2025, Portree Cellars joined the ranks of Texas Wine Growers, an organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the integrity of Texas wine. Texas Wine Growers’ mission includes educating consumers about the unique terroir of Texas, the importance of using 100% Texas-grown grapes in winemaking and promoting Texas wine to consumers and policymakers. Members must certify annually that they produce all of their wines using 100% Texas grapes.

Portree Cellars is pleased to be working with other like-minded Texas wine producers and looks forward to increasing consumer awareness and consumption of 100% Texas wines in 2026 and beyond.
